Always a Step Forward...

They say the age of email is over. For some reason, it is a partly truth. The communication has speeded up. I remembered how I spent horrible days waiting for my Uni passing exam results and that my sister can just check it out online. Marketing analysts say, the email is loosing the popularity compared to the less profound forms of communication. Yes, we are talking of Facebooks, Twitters and other social networking. The instant messaging is a real advantage when you don't want to wait hours for the response. The truth is that most of the users turn it on for hours, so while they may be in the work, in the school doing any other activity, they are connected.They say, we ar! e rewriting the way we communicate. Yes, partly truth – by instant messaging, there is something that even got its enter to the dictionaries – it's called a small talk. Little, pointless chatting is surely closer to American population, but it's getting its fans even here in the Europe.It's good when you want to organize a meeting in very quick time, but it is surely not a medium for a deeper dialogue. I have a lot of friends who say “Please don't discuss these topics on Facebook, it is not worth it. Let's meet somewhere.” Ok, then I take it. Personally I am not a fan of personal small talks, but I admit it can be a very useful sometimes. For example, when you work from home, get your orders via instant messaging. With the services like Skype, you can even make phonecalls or send large documents online. That is the disadvantage of traditional emails. But they are assimilating to the new trend as well.Google's gmail, one of the most favorite email acc! ounts has a feature of chat even videochat.For me it's the mos! t useful form of chatting. While controlling my email account, I still can see my friends online, their status. Summing it shortly, yes we are changing the way of our communication, it can bring as many advantages, such as disadvantages. It all depends on user's conscious.
